Associate Director - Human Resource - IT (15-16 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

Attracting Talent

Recruitment :

- Prepare annual recruitment plans based on manpower plans and the business projections.

- Create a talent database for future recruitments

- Benchmarks recruitment practices and adopt the best practices

- Formulate, review and update the recruitment policy

- Ensure standardisation of recruitment process across locations

- Conduct regular audits and create dashboards on recruitment Standard Operating Procedures

- Enhance usage of alternate channels of recruitment such as Employee Referrals, Internal Job Posting, In-House Database, Social Networking and aim at reducing vendor dependency

- For critical positions, tie up with the right recruitment agencies and conduct their performance assessment

- Leverage the use of technology like the internet to post vacancies and use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.

- Define the interview process and panel composition for various levels of recruitment

- Train the panel on a standard interview process

- Ensure completion of reference and background checks, pre-employment medical check-ups, and any other selection criteria for shortlisted candidates

- Participates in employer branding activities to increase brand reach, both internally and externally

MIS and Reporting :

- Generate weekly/monthly MIS reports on hiring status monthly hiring plan update, sourcing effectiveness and reviewing the salary offers and negotiations being made

- Create and review monthly MIS reports evaluating the cost/budget performance

- Conduct monthly audit to ensure that the team maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates hiring and selection records

- Maintain JDs and salary information for senior and specialist positions and provide them to the Corporate HR Head as and when required

Retaining Talent :

- On-boarding employees

- Ensure on-boarding checklist is completed and all documents are in order

- Yearly audit of the on-boarding process/checklist

Managing employee database :

- Ensure employee contact information database is complete and up-to-date-

- Ensure employee skills information database is complete and up-to-date

Employee Policies and Procedures :

- Support to ensure employee handbook is complete and up-to-date

- Yearly audit of employee handbook

Performance Management :

- Assist management team in developing Goals and Objectives for employees

- Execute the six-monthly performance review process

- Ensure the career development plans for each employee are in place

- Conduct Quarterly 1:1 process

Benefits Management :

- Conduct employee survey periodically to collect feedback on modifications needed

- Recommend strategies to either include or respond to the employee feedback

Support Payroll Management :

- Monitor and compile salary attendance

- Support finance team for TAX calculations and deductions

- Support finance team with final settlement of employees exiting the company

Employee Retention :

Suggest employee fun activities and plan and execute them

Growing Talent

Readiness :

- Identify and evaluate business initiatives to ascertain appropriate Training programs that meet company goals

- Collect training needs based on performance appraisals, business requirements, project needs and develop quarterly and annual readiness calendar

- Develop team-building exercises, workshops and facilitate leadership pieces of training

- Vendor management for different training needs
