Associate Director - FS Tax


Roles & Responsibilities:


- Direct tax and Regulatory advisory experience for AIFs, VCFs, PMS and NBFCs

- Direct tax and Regulatory compliance work for AIFs, VCFs, PMS and NBFCs

- Tax compliance and Advisory work for Overseas Funds

- Broader Financial Service in depth knowledge

- IFSC GIFT City knowledge, if any

- Working effectively on critical client issues along with the team

- Regular review of deliverables prepared by team members

- Effectively handle overall timelines and quality deliverable to the clients and manage client accounts independently

- Developing and maintaining relationship with clients and regulatory authority and act as POC for escalation and other client issue

- Handling litigation matters of clients including drafting replies to show cause notices, drafting appeals, attending personal hearing, representing the client before authorities, etc.

- Providing BD support by preparing proposals and pitch presentations

- Mentoring/ guiding AMs, consultants and trainees of the team

- Conducting regular technical trainings/ knowledge sharing sessions within team

- Supporting Partners/Directors in article writing

Desired Profile:

- Should be a Chartered Accountant.

- Should have knowledge in Income tax, NBFC Regulations, SEBI Regulations, Overseas Fund structures, FEMA Regulations

- Should have an experience of at least 5 to 7 years in FS Tax practice in any of the Big 4.


- 5-7 years of post-qualification experience
