Associate Director - FDRO (Education)


- Support the Faculty Development Office to manage FDRO Operations and Faculty Experience, Faculty Development Initiatives, Research Associates, RCI Evaluation and Financial Planning and Reporting.

- To manage the software related to Faculty Information (Digital Measures) and in-charge of Accreditation and Audits related to faculty data including website revamp project.

The jobholder as Associate Director - Faculty Development reports to the Associate Director and is predominantly responsible for five areas - (1) Department Operations; Managing Faculty experience (2) Research Associates (3) RCI Evaluation (4) Financial planning, reporting & analysis (5) Faculty Information systems

- S/he is responsible to manage end to end functioning of the Faculty Development Office, facilitate development of policies and process flows that enhance faculty experience and design the faculty administrative support plan.

- S/he is responsible for actively promoting & supporting effective channels of communication between faculty and other departments.

- S/he is responsible to ensure the delivery of Faculty Development Initiatives and learning interventions like Teaching and Research workshops, Faculty Orientation Programmes etc.

- S/he is responsible for implementing administrative policies for the Faculty. This aspect of the role involves networking widely within the school/ working collaboratively with the internal departments - Dean's Office, ASA, Finance, HR, IT, LRC Commercials, Marketing & Communications.

- Responsible for creating/developing necessary Information systems road maps for faculty databases/systems. S/he oversees maintenance of electronic inventory for faculty recruitment data. Takes reports to analyze data and forecast trends.

- Responsible to manage the Digital Measures software.

- Responsible to designs systems for record of faculty's intellectual contribution data.

- S/he is responsible to digitize FDRO Processes, ensure smooth functioning of the department's IT application and update the faculty portal on Atrium and the website on the latest developments, strategies and structural changes.

- S/He is responsible to drive key department level projects like Website revamp, developing of the Risk Register and also help in preparing Annual Reports, Executive Board Updates, Quarterly Update Presentations, Dean's Annual Report, Faculty Directory, Research Brochure and support faculty governance documentation.

- S/he is responsible for overseeing the finances of the Faculty Development Office including the accounting & budgeting.

- S/he draws up the budget for the department, documents approval processes, reviews report to analyze projections against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals, and suggests methods of improving the planning process.

- S/he is responsible for overseeing the Research Associate Hiring, Allocation, alignment and Evaluation for the Faculty Development Office.
