Position - Associate Director/Director: Workday HCM

- This position provides strategic leadership, organizational vision and day-to-day operational oversight of all aspects of the Workday HCM project deliveries and offshore resources.

- This position must build strong and productive relationships with global stakeholders, cross-functional partners, leverage strengths within the association to achieve best possible results and become a trusted business and technology adviser.

- This position reports directly to the Workday Director and will also meet on a regular basis with the global sponsors of the offshore Workday Platform team.

Role Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Workday HCM Platform team growth strategy and roadmap for KGS in partnering KPMG global firms on Workday HCM engagements.

- Lead KGS Workday HCM capability team, that comprises of managers and Workday HCM & Payroll consultants.

- Hold regular meetings with the Workday Director and KGS Leadership and provide expert advice regarding Workday strategy and keep the KGS LT informed about the status of ongoing projects and initiatives as well as the future state approach status.

- Lead and manage the HCM Workday team KPI's, Overseeing cross-functional projects, resources L&D

- Sets clear expectations, goals and objectives; provides timely feedback; coaches and manages the professional development of the team.

- Demonstrates KGS Management Performance Standards: Shape the Future, Optimize Resources, Enable Achievement, Inspire the Team, Build Relationships and Invest in Employees to create a constructive work environment and engage employees in our vision and mission.

- Collaborates with senior leadership to define the Portfolio and Roadmap including working with business owners to strategize options and develop strong, well-articulated business cases.

- Providing regular communication on the health, status, risks & issues of the Workday HCM platform.

- Partnering with the stakeholders to obtain resources, make decisions and prioritize tasks to best meet the program timeline.

- Resolving conflicts and/or priority discrepancies.

- Resolution of low and medium risks & issues in the practice that can be handled internally

- Reporting and potential escalation of high risks & issues in the program

- Collaborates with leadership to establish and implement relevant metrics for monitoring and reporting Workday HCM Platform performance pertaining to active projects, roadmap status, support, etc.

- Standardization and publication of delivery and quality processes, procedures and practices across platform and project teams

- Directs, manages, and provides leadership for the Workday HCM Team. Monitors work requests, allocates staff resources, sets direction, inspires innovation, fosters competency development, cross-training and ensures that staff skills keep pace with global firm and growth needs. Ensures team members develop and maintain technical knowledge in specialized areas, remaining up to date on current trends and best practices

- Responsible for the proper security and disposal of any confidential information that he or she may possess in the course of performing this position's job duties, as well as ensuring staff compliance with security protocols in accordance with KPMG Global Services policies.

Requirement :

- Candidate should have the ability to perform in a dynamically changing environment

- Creative and innovative thinker with strong collaborative leadership skills to work in partnership with people relations and senior leadership teams.

- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and an ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Excellent oral, written, presentation and communication skills and an ability to handle sensitive Client employee information

- Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations

- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations

- Create solutions for client and/or internal review

- Participate in client meetings and DA reviews to communicate status or give demos

- Drive continuous improvement and process simplification.

Must-Have Certifications:

- Active Workday HCM Certification + Workday PM Certification.

- Any other HCM Specialization Certification or Payroll is an added advantage.

- PMP, Prince2, CSM would be a plus.

Experience & Background :

- A strong background in HR business processes preferred.

- MBA (HR) preferred, BE/B. Tech would be considered

- Candidate should have a minimum of 15+ years of experience in IT consulting with at least 5+ in Workday HCM Implementation projects.

- Worked across and have hand-on experience running design sessions, discovery workshops, functional, data conversion strategy formulation and implementation.

- Should have prior working experience in SAP, PeopleSoft or other ERP tools.

- Demonstrated detail-oriented and solid organizational skills

- Managed teams in an effective manner (hiring, motivation, retention, performance/rewards assessments, development/corrective actions etc.)

- Ability to be an innovative thinker with proven track record and high degree of problem solving and decision-making ability.

- Ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple projects at various stages of development using effective organization skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to lead highly visible multidisciplinary project/program teams or initiatives and provide leadership as the authority in a specialized field.

- Interpersonal skills, service orientation and ability to work in a team environment.

- Ability to be persuasive, negotiate, and collaborate with individuals at all levels inside and outside of the organization.

- Ability to listen and interpret the stakeholder needs, de-escalate difficult customer interactions, while at the same time researching the issue and applying broad business and technical knowledge to meet the customer's satisfaction.

- Ability to apply risk management and contingency planning skills required for maintenance functions and activities.

- Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) in the day-to-day essential duties of the job.

- Ability to provide service excellence by building relationships, being resourceful, responsive and respectful.
