Job Position: Associate Director/ Director- Finance & Accounting


- The Director of Finance & Accounts is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations within the organization. This position requires a thorough understanding of financial management, budgeting, accounting principles, and regulations. The Director of Finance & Accounts will work closely with senior management to develop financial strategies and provide recommendations for improving financial performance.

- This challenging role is an opportunity for a motivated seasoned accountant whose primary responsibilities will be to support Accounting Policy functions, day to day accounting activities, moth end and year end close process, Intercompany accounting transactions.

- Responsible for Managing general accounting functions and/or Accounting policy functions.

- Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month end and year end reports are completed accurately and on time.

- Ensuring that all accounting process align with GAAP and current financial legislation

- Prepare and publish timely and accurate financial statements including - Income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements

- Review the Journals entered by the teams - AP, GL of respective regions

- Responsible for month end and year end close process

- Responsible for intercompany transaction-accounting, compliance and assisting the audit of respective regions.

- Support the finance team in continuous improvement and innovation. Include design, testing and rollout of financial reporting systems / tools/ processes.

- Develop and document business process and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

- Liaise with external auditors to complete timely financial audits.

- Revenue account reconciliations

- SOX audit exposure

Nice-to-have skills:

- CA, CPA, CMA or master's degree in accounting required

- Minimum 5 years of experience in team management

- Solid knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP.

- Exceptional written and spoken English skills

Qualifications:

- Should have 14+ Yrs of relevant experience.

- Fluent written and spoken English skills, able to use English to communicate with worldwide peers.
