Job Summary: Improve processes, manages risk, improve revenue, ensure compliance, cut costs and standardize the processes to ensure efficiency and productivity. Job Role: - Preparing and monitoring risk based audit plan for internal audit - Implement framework to test if the internal systems supporting compliance with regulatory requirements and expectations are properly designed, documented and implemented and include appropriate governance and data quality controls - Write down process flows to identify controls and control gaps - Evaluating internal control systems / procedures for adequacy and effectiveness of systems and processes at various levels with a view to highlight the shortcomings and implementing necessary recommendations. - Review & report the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of financial and other information - Assist in the identification and risk assessment of issues and work with management to track issues to resolution - Develop expertise in regulatory requirements Qualifications : - Chartered Accountant(CA)/Chartered Public Accountant(CPA)/ MBA in Finance with 10-12 years of progressive experience in large financial institutions working in auditing experience; preferably financial services and/or Big 4 in external audit, internal audit, or equivalent in the combination of education and experience. - Major institutional and/or financial services experience, Big Four experience, and CA/CPA or CIA is desired - Strong analytical skills and judgment required to assess risks and controls in business processes. Leadership skills : - Must be familiar with SEC requirements associated with the Financial Services Industry - Comfortable working in fast-paced environment. Ability to handle multiple assignments effectively. - Must have the ability to converse with management at all levels
