Associate Director Design


About the Role :

- This role is to deliver PAN India scalable design solutions (Process & Network) for services (Installation, Tech Visit, Repairs and Value Added Services).

- Providing leadership direction to the design team by stating clear expectations regarding business goals, priorities, and risks while gaining team commitment to the achievement of the required results.

- Ideation, execution, coaching and mentoring the direct reports to drive service design improvements and re-design in line with business objectives.

- Ability to promote a culture of innovation, digital transformation and continuously stretching the boundaries of process excellence.

- Bring in expertise insights of best practices followed in the service design ecosystem by other players and adapt or implement them.

- Lead the Network Design to meet the sustainable scale and cost requirements of the business across different services.

- Act as a subject matter expert for the business/operations working with external bodies: product, tech, ops, IT, legal, infra to influence decisions.

- Provided performance-focused leadership.

- Work with top performers for talent development and create a leadership pipeline for your own level.

Key Accountabilities :

- Lead the Customer experience, Cost, Speed, Digital Transformation and Innovation charters for services.

- Improve productivity through the development of robust and effective operational best practices and structural design solves.

- Successfully lead the team to achieve the organizational goals

- Lead & inspire a set of design staff to drive game-changing improvements in services.

- Set ambitious goals for direct reports and provide coaching & guidance to help the team achieve these goals.

- Define, design, launch and manage cost, speed, and reliability related programs.

- Aggressively searches for opportunities to improve the entire service design process by working with product, other design organizations, category, operations & other functional teams across the enterprise.

- Develop a culture of continuous improvement & step changes within team and across cross-functional teams that helps to reduce non-value-added activities leading to improved and faster service offering.

Basic Qualifications :

- Post Graduate from Tier I : Preferable in Supply Chain management. Strong experience in envisaging and delivering on customer-facing constructs.

- More than 10+ years of business experience in areas relevant to service design/ supply chain design and optimization preferably in strategy & operations consultancy.

- Strong Data and Analytics capabilities - Well versed in end-to-end data and analytics : mining and extracting, cleansing, and formatting, structuring, and analyzing, and garnering information and insights. Ability to leverage large amounts of complex data sets to support business decisions by telling the story with data.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience delivering service/ supply chain solutions in a very high growth environment with shifting priorities.

- Exhibits excellent business acumen.

- Ability to communicate clearly and compellingly and who understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong and talented team

- An innovative thinker who also has a strong customer and quality focus.

- Has an entrepreneurial spirit with agile working methods.
