Associate Director - Data Governance Lead - BFSI (12-16 yrs)
The position is with a top Insurance broking and financial services firm. the organisation has their presence in 135 countries with India having 3 offices. We are currently hiring for the following role:
Associate Director - Data Governance Lead
- Building a data governance framework that leverages data governance management tools and technology to establish governance policies, standards and procedures
- Working with technology, digital and compliance teams to ensure data readiness for downstream analytics
- Partnering with appropriate third parties as necessary for data acquisition
- Driving data stewardship and ownership with alignment from regional and global stakeholders to manage the lifecycle of MMB data. Leading and groomingbusiness data stewards to ensure accuracy of data capture, maximizing data observability and value
Profile:
- 12+ years of work experience in data domain - governance, operations and master data management.
- Familiarity with data science and data wrangling process. Familiarity with languages such as Python, R, SAS , SQL etc. Familiarity with big data tools such as Hive, Spark, Hadoop etc
