Associate Director - Consulting Project - Metals & Minerals

Job Summary:

We are seeking candidates with skills and experience across these solutions, with specific interest in candidates who have applied these skills in one or more segments; e.g. Non-Ferrous (Aluminium, Copper, Zinc, Lead etc.), Mining, Industrial Minerals, Casting & Fabrication etc.

Responsibilities:

- We are currently seeking an Associate Director for our Metals & Minerals team as a member of our India and Middle East practice.

- The Candidate will possess knowledge of Aluminium/Copper/Mining/Minerals strategy, markets, segments.

- He/she must be able to identify and build client relationships, structure compelling consulting value propositions, lead the consulting sales process (with appropriate support), lead project teams, contribute to the professional development of team members and to the Firm's intellectual capital.

- The ideal candidate will, therefore, possess excellent project leadership, people management, and client handling skills.

- He/she will also have superior quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.

Client Leadership:

- Serving as the Engagement leader for simultaneous engagements to ensure high levels of quality, client satisfaction, and employee satisfaction. Becoming personally involved in engagements where necessary to mitigate risk.

- Developing expertise in establishing new executive-level relationships with key stakeholders at new prospective clients

- Project leadership

- Client management

- Deep involvement with the project team on all aspects of the assignment

- Contribute to and manage growth consulting projects, delivering quality insights within the scope, objectives, timeline, and budget for assigned projects

- Contribute insights in the development of growth consulting proposals, with regards to methodology, achievable objectives, budget requirements, etc.

Establish a presence as an influential and knowledgeable expert in Metals & Minerals Leadership and participation in strategy towards building and maintaining a strong consulting program in Metals & Minerals

Qualifications, Knowledge and experience:

- The successful candidate will be a professional and committed business consultant, with a thorough understanding of basics of Business development and Client engagement.

- Proven success with direct client interaction, business development, custom research project fulfillment and a pro-active, methodical and innovative working practice is essential, with a proven ability to smash personal targets.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Master's degree preferred.

- Professional work experience in Metals /Minerals/Mining consulting, manufacturing, marketing and sales, or related field is required.

- Strong expertise and understanding of the Metals & Minerals sector Ability to influence and collaborate with senior level management teams.

- Ability to think creatively and create out of the box solutions.

- Demonstrated capability to facilitate effective, cross functional, client meetings.

- Education, training or certification in strategy, project management, performance improvement, and change management is desired.

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Fluent in English (written and verbal) is required.

- Open to travel within India and Middle East for work.

- Should possess relevant experience of 10-12 years.
