Organizational Overview:

- The company is a non-banking finance company with an objective to provide efficient and reliable access to debt capital for the institutions that impact financially excluded households and enterprises. It is engaged in providing diversified financing options, particularly from the debt capital markets to institutions (Originators) that provide microfinance, SME finance, affordable housing finance, vehicle finance, agricultural finance etc.

- Some of the products offered by the Company to such Originators are loans, working capital, securitisation, non-convertible debentures, commercial paper, redeemable preference shares, guarantee backed structures etc.

- The Markets team provides a link between debt capital markets and high quality Originators. The Markets team works with over 100 investors, including Banks, NBFCs and HFCs, Asset Management companies, Off-shore investors including DFIs, Insurance companies and private wealth. The team specialises in offering structured transactions to meet the specific requirements of each investor based on their expected return and risk appetite.

JOB OBJECTIVE:

Primary job responsibilities shall include placement of debt market instruments (structured in-house and sourced from external investors) with the active capital market players namely MFs, insurance entities, family offices/corporate treasuries.

The job description encompasses:

- Responsible for achieving business revenue targets. This is to be achieved by way of placement of products in the industry and also source and place independently high rated and liquid papers within the market.

- Actively manage and deepen relationships with capital market participants

- Negotiating and executing plain vanilla and structured finance transactions; coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders involved in deal

- The company has a wide range of products on its own like PTCs, Collateralized Bond Obligations, Debt AIFs; the candidate is expected to develop an understanding of these products and place it in the capital market

- Provide regular inputs to the Business Development and Structuring team leading to product improvement

- Contribute towards team goals by taking on and timely completion of tasks within the investment team

- Represent the company at conferences and seminars

Experience and Skills required:

Qualifications:

MBA or Post Graduate in Management from a premier institute/Chartered Accountant/CFA

Experience:

Minimum relevant experience of 10 years in placement/sourcing of rated, listed debt instruments and dealing with Investment teams at Mutual Funds/Insurance companies/bank treasuries/corporate treasuries/family offices

Skills:

- Self-starter with the ability to own the role and develop high quality coverage

- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills

- Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements along with understanding of business drivers and macro-economic & business environment

- Good understanding of structured products

- Experience of and ability to stretch oneself, work under pressure, handle multiple assignments simultaneously and deliver on deadlines

- Strong negotiation skills with problem solving attitude

- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, self-motivated and process oriented individual
