Associate Director - Capital Markets & Investor Relations (AIF Experience Required)

Role Objective

As Associate Director - Capital Markets & Investor Relations, you will lead fundraising initiatives, drive the marketing and placement of structured debt transactions, and manage high-impact relationships with institutional investors. Your leadership will ensure seamless transaction execution while also fostering long-term investor trust and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

- Investor Network Development: Cultivate a deep network of institutional investors-mutual funds, NBFCs, banks, insurance firms, offshore investors, and sovereign funds.

- Structured Debt Transactions: Market and place structured debt deals tailored to investor appetite and market dynamics.

- End-to-End Deal Execution: Manage the full lifecycle of transactions-negotiations, pricing, documentation, closure, and post-deal support.

- Market Intelligence: Feed actionable insights to internal teams to enhance product structuring and innovation.

- Strategic Communication: Craft and lead investor relations strategies to communicate performance, vision, and value proposition.

- Investor Confidence: Build trust through transparent, consistent, and insightful communication and reporting.

- Relationship Management: Deepen engagement with existing investors, manage expectations, and encourage continuous dialogue.

- Fundraising Support: Spearhead capital-raising efforts with compelling pitches, financial models, and due diligence readiness.

Qualifications & Experience

- Experience: 10+ years in capital markets, investment banking, or corporate finance, with a strong track record in institutional sales and fundraising.

- AIF Expertise: Demonstrated experience in Alternative Investment Funds (Category I, II, or III), with strong regulatory and structural knowledge.

- Investor Relations: Proven experience in investor reporting, relationship management, and communication strategies.

- Education: MBA, CA, or equivalent financial qualifications preferred.
