JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

REVENUE MANAGEMENT :

- Prospect for retained search mandates from current, past and potential clients

- Ensure revenue booking & billing targets are met or exceeded

- Ensure tight cost management and positive cash-flow

CLIENT MANAGEMENT :

- Consult / advise the client on the business within the context of a legal/consulting mandate

- Ensure high degree of closure of search mandates and manage client expectations

- Farm existing client relationships to generate additional business

ASSIGNMENT MANAGEMENT :

- Execute and deliver search-assignments successfully within the given timeframe

- Effectively assess the client's need and ensure its alignment with the solution that is delivered

- Actively form contact list to ensure closure on self generated mandates

- Generate prospects for legal / consulting assignments and assist the partner in closing deals

- Nurture and manage existing client relationships

- Oversee research and execution process to ensure it is aligned to the delivery strategy

- Monitor the quality of all deliverables within the context of a advisory mandate

- Ensure the solution delivered is completed successfully within the stipulated timelines and to the client's satisfaction

PRACTICE MANAGEMENT :

- Contribute to the development of formal practice offerings

- Develop practice-specific IP, industry reports

- Provide firm visibility at industry events

TEAM MANAGEMENT :

- Create and maintain a culture of innovation, enthusiasm, empowerment and teamwork, to have a positive impact on staff motivation and reduce attrition

- Ensure continual development of team members- skill-set and know-how by organising appropriate training and mentoring

- Conduct 6 monthly /annual appraisals with team members and provide relevant feedback on a regular basis
