Associate Director - Brand & Marketing Communication - Education (10-16 yrs)
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Brand custodian and stewardship with the eventual goalpost of making the university a preferred - brand of choice- (among the top 3) across all the underlying categories/ university schools
- Developing and driving the overall brand and marketing communications calendar with high quality creative and business impact.
- Responsible for ATL, BTL brand campaigns, media planning & buying, product category marketing communication, internal brand buzz and other tactical sales focused marketing initiatives.
- Effectively support sales/enrollments and other units such as CR/B2B sales & CS, campus stakeholders/schools with high quality collateral, communication support and go to market packs etc
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE :
- PG /MBA with specialization in Marketing/ Mass comm
- Minimum 10+ years of sales operations and business development experience required with exceptional commercial acumen.
- Proven success as a decision-maker in a collaborative, matrixed environment with multiple direct and indirect reporting structures throughout the organization.
- Stakeholder collaboration experience, with the ability to quickly develop and manage both internal and external relationships across cultural and geographical boundaries; the ability to use a collaborative model to leverage resources effectively.
- Proven success record leading and building an agile workforce that responds quickly and effectively to changing business situations and demands.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate issues and recommendations persuasively and effectively to key stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills required.
- Strong bias for action and result orientation.
COMPETENCIES :
Must have :
- B2C brand marketing or strong advertising agency background in account planning and or servicing.
- Few years or stint in sales would be an added advantage
- Experience in understanding business; integrating it with knowledge and insights, to effectively formulate and execute digital marketing strategies and plans.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills; strong presentation and meeting facilitation skills with ability to execute across multiple stakeholders.
- Drive to innovate - Creating new and better ways for organization to be successful.
- Strong relationship building skills; a good listener, collaborator, and influencer.
- Ability to interface with people at all levels within the organization. High level of enthusiasm, dynamism, functioning in a team-driven, highly creative environment.
