Associate - Credit Risk Ratings Support - Investment Bank (2-6 yrs)
Role & Responsibilities:
- Working with the Internal Rating Officer in the development, maintenance and governance of the Credit Risk Management (CRM) Ratings and Reviews infrastructure
- This includes working on credit rating model development and testing, analysis of model usage and overrides, working with IT to implement changes, and running adhoc projects and activities related to the Credit rating framework
- Liaising and working with sector specialists on making enhancements to the ratings models
- Working with the Credit Middle Office in developing KRIs for senior management
- Support the Credit Policy team with the development, maintenance and administration of online CRM training modules that are rolled out to Risk and Front Office staff. This involves understanding Credit policies and Procedures and creating training modules, liaising with relevant teams within CRM and outside to get the training rolled-out to the intended audience, track progress, prepare MI etc.
Mind Set:
- At least 2 years prior experience in Credit Risk, working on assigning credit ratings (any sector) or working on an F-IRB ratings project
- Strong analytical skills, including data analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organization skills
- The ability to be a - self-starter-, working without supervision and a proactive approach
