Associate - Credit Risk Management - Insurance Domain (3-5 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- The candidate will be expected to manage credit risk in identified portfolio(s), focusing on key credit metrics from a single obligor and portfolio perspective.
- Additionally, the candidate will be required to develop a strong understanding of financial risk calculations associated with key insurance products, and effectively and consistently communicate the methodology to the business units.
- Responsibilities will include the periodic reviews of selected obligors with a responsibility to propose internal ratings and associated credit limits, day-to-day management of reporting of key risks (& trends) to senior management for certain products and contribute to the advancement of strategic initiatives identified by the Head of Credit Risk Insurance, Credit Risk Management and Financial Risk Management.
- The candidate will assess and recommend risk appetite for structured transactions on a timely basis, mentor more junior members of the team and complete tasks with a reasonable amount of independence and according to milestones outlined by senior members of the team.
- The role will require an effective relationship to be established with key business unit personnel as well as other risk management groups.
Experience :
At least 3-5 years of work experience in credit risk or risk management across insurance domain. (Life/Health/P&C)
