Associate - Credit Risk - BFSI (4-6 yrs)

Skills:

- Demonstrated professional work experience with Infrastructure lender in Credit/Risk team

- Strong knowledge of transaction structuring and term sheet due diligence

- Have worked on project finance deals in roads and renewable sectors

- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

- Strong knowledge of rating models, financial modelling and financial analytics - must have conducted detailed due diligence of financials models

Key Accountabilities :

- Conduct entire credit assessment process with the objective of minimising the credit risks in the proposals by validating all assumptions, review of financial models and term sheets,

identifying key risks and ensuring necessary mitigations, suggesting suitable credit enhancement measures depending on the type of risk associated with each transaction.

- Assign ratings to new proposals, conduct annual re-rating of assets on books, periodic site visits

- Responsible for establishing and periodically updating checklists for each sector that serves as a benchmark for evaluation of all credit appraisals.

- Responsible for negotiations with business teams, lenders engineers, legal teams etc for improvement in credit terms and various aspects of the proposal in order to make it more credit worthy. Highlight key risks to senior management thereby improving their decision-making process.

- Responsible for tracking key events in the infrastructure sector and their impact on the portfolio

- Assisting in preparing presentations for Risk Committee and other senior management

- Industry Preference Banks with focus on infra lending/ NBFC/Big 4 - Risk assessment team

Qualification: MBA/ CA/ CFA
