The Associate Consultant will work with Third Party Relationship Owners, the assessment vendor, and other team members to assess Third Parties- security capabilities; collect, manage, and close findings; track program performance metrics; and reduce overall risk. Assessments 70% - Coordinate Information Security assessments and resolution of associated findings for Third Parties. The focus and tone of the assessments will act as encouragement to have security controls in place (whether automated or manual) - Track performance metrics of the TPISRM team, program, and vendor suppliers - Capture knowledge and learnings for the team to build best practices to provide quality service - Successfully establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Lilly to help facilitate assessments for Third Parties across the enterprise. Program/Project Management - 30% - Develop project plans and track progress of program projects and initiatives - Continuously improve processes used for assessments, findings management, risk communication, and remediation. - Work with other IS and IT teams as an assessment subject matter expert (SME) for various projects related to improvements with controls, tools, or assessment services. Qualifications : Basic : - Education: Bachelors or Master's Degree - 2-5 years of information security, quality, risk management and/or audit experience (either from within these functions or from building skills and interests in other areas) - Demonstrated superior communication, writing and presentation skills at various levels across the organization, including executives. - Excellent self-management skills and ability work independently, seeking guidance when necessary. - Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and learn new business processes. Preferred : - Information Security certifications - Strong learning agility - Ability to influence without authority - Demonstrated superior skills at building and maintaining business relationships as well as exerting influence within business relationships - Demonstrated natural curiosity
