Associate Consultant - Real Estate - CAPEX Projects - Big 3 Management Consulting Firm
What You'll Do :-
- In this role, you will work with a portfolio manager and/or a senior workplace expert to implement established real estate workplace strategies, providing expertise, coordination and oversight of projects from inception through completion.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of these projects, meeting required construction standards, budget and schedule.
- You will use, develop and share best practice standards including technical, process and coordination documentation required in the delivery of best-in-class corporate interior fit-outs.
- You will build, lead and actively manage teams of external vendors to meet all design, furniture and construction requirements of the projects.
- You will work with portfolio managers on specific negotiations, work letters and contract approaches, ensuring alignment and you will collaborate with location leaders, IT colleagues and other internal stakeholders on building and delivering on all project requirements.
Qualifications:
- University degree ideally in project management, construction or design
- 5+ years of experience ideally in a professional services environment with direct and hands-on interiors construction project management experience
- Excellent relationship-building skills; experience of working collaboratively with colleagues of all tenures
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Ability to self-motivate and act independently
- Strong integrity, maturity and fairness in dealing with people and confidential information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to deliver clear messages effectively including conveying complex concepts
