As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work with leading corporate institutions in Financial Services sectors (Banking, Insurance, Investment Management and Capital Markets) to manage complex programs / projects for them and advise them on Finance and Operations transformation initiatives covering key areas such as:
- Finance Process Optimization
- Planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Quality Close and Integrated Reporting
- Lean / six sigma initiatives
- Regulatory driven change
- Cash and Working Capital Management
- Finance Shared Service and Outsourcing
- Implementing operating model transformation (systems, processes, controls, people etc.)
- Technology Enabled Finance
THE INDIVIDUAL
To be part of the team, the individual should possess the following core skills and additional skills:
Core Skills
- Strong understanding of core finance processes and operations in banking, insurance, capital markets or wealth management sectors
- Good understanding of retail banking / corporate banking / wealth management processes (e.g. cash management, payments, loan approval process, bank guarantee, letter of credit etc.)
Additional Skills
In addition to the above mentioned core skills, the individual should have 3 to 6 years- experience and demonstrated expertise in any 2 of the following domains:
- Finance or operations technology implementation experience
- Enterprise Performance Management processes such as planning, budgeting, forecasting, Financial Reporting & Consolidation, Finance or operational dashboards
- Business Process Management tools / workflow automation in Finance or operations with experience on tools (for example - Appian, IBM Lombardi BPM, Work Fusion etc.)
- Data and Analytics in Finance and/or Operations
- Worked in large and complex finance and operations transformation programs, having contributed as a program management / project management resource
- Project accounting skills, i.e. tracking and reporting project specific transactions, with project revenues, costs, assets and liabilities identified and allocated to the project, reporting key performance indicators relevant to project performance and identifying project related transactions in the main accounting system and allocating or apportioning these to the project accounting system.
Educational Qualifications
- MBA-Finance / CA / CFA / Cost and Management Accountant
- Certification in PMP / Prince 2 will be preferred (for candidates having project management skills)
