- Business Operations Associate Consultants on the Operations Excellence team focus on enhancing the operational efficiency of our project teams and client engagements. - They are instrumental in institutionalizing Continuous Improvement as the way of thinking and day to day working amongst the operations group members. - They build Operations Excellence knowledge through training programs, initiatives, workshops and partnering with senior members of the project team to identify gaps in existing processes, help the project team in creating meaningful plans and roadmaps to improve their operations maturity over a period of time and facilitate adoption of best practices across teams. - With time and as they advance in their career, they may choose to continue working in the specialized Operations Excellence Team or move to manage overall projects and client engagements, supporting our clients- marketing and sales activities to ensure productivity and profitability in their business operations. Responsibilities: - Enable and support project teams improve their operations maturity and processes - Partner with project teams to benchmark their performance on operational practices and help create annual plans to improve their adherence to these benchmarks. - Help and coordinate in designing and imparting training programs on Operations Excellence such as BPMS, Lean, Value Stream Mapping, etc - Partner with senior members of the project team in major process enablement and re-engineering initiatives - Coordinating VSM workshops and improvement initiatives for internal project teams as well as for clients - Partner with senior leadership and teams across offices on change management projects and initiatives Qualifications: Graduates with a bachelors/master's degree and a MBA, plus 2.6-4 years of prior project management experience in operations excellence / change management/ Lean Six Sigma roles. In lieu of an MBA, 3.6-5 years of relevant work experience may substitute. In addition to a strong academic record of analytic and quantitative work, typically demonstrated through consistent top marks in university, we seek individuals with the following personal skills: - Mastery of Lean Six Sigma principles (Black Belt certification preferred; Green Belt certification is minimum) - Ability to drive and coordinate change management initiatives/ projects - Team orientation - Process management and improvement focus - Strong work ethic and personal initiative - Structured problem solving skills - Strong communication, business acumen and personal impact - Ability to work in global cross office teams - Creative and innovative mindset - Client service orientation
