Associate Consultant - Healthcare/Health Insurance Analytics


The Associate Consultants design and execute analyses to address business problems for our clients and project teams. They leverage their analytical skills to find data -driven insights that help our clients solve their most important business problems, and engage with clients to help them understand the implications and make plans to act on them .

Responsibilities

- Work with the team on consulting projects with health plan clients

- Leverage analytic techniques to use data to guide client and decision -making

- Conduct market research and/or desk research to derive insights and inform client decision-making

- Design custom analyses using tools like Excel, Access, and proprietary software

- Develop and apply advanced statistical models that help clients understand dynamic business issues

- Develop client relationships and serve as key point of contact on aspects of projects

- Provide client and internal teams project status updates

- Create project deliverables and implement solutions

- Synthesize and communicate results to Health Plan clients and internal teams

- Play an active role in building the Health Plan practice and contribute to the development of thought leadership pieces in the space

- Mentor and coach associates

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or master's degree in any discipline; strong academic performance with analytic and quantitative coursework is required (business, economics, marketing, physical or life sciences, engineering, operations research, management science, applied mathematics, statistics or relevant fields)

- Interest in healthcare business processes / analytics

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quantitative tools (Excel, R, etc.)

- High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative

- Strong analytical approach

- Attention to details, with a quality-focused mindset

- Self-discipline for planning and organizing tasks

- Strong oral and written communication skills

Qualifications

- Engineering from Tier 1 colleges / MBA

Experience required:

- 22 to 42 Months (With MBA),

- 35 to 48 Months (Without MBA)
