Role Title: Associate - Business Finance

Location: Bangalore

Working Hours: UK (1:30 pm-10:30 pm IST)

Years of Experience: 6-13years

Hybrid Mode-Monday, Friday- WFH.

About the Team: The Finance Team is the custodian of all financial matters of the organization. This team is responsible for a broad diverse range of financial functions including managing accounting duties and providing financial expertise. Apart from day to day financial activities, this team is also responsible for scaling up the financial offerings.

Role Purpose: To be a key member of the finance team whereby being a custodian of all accounting processes, all financial operational activities and invoicing. Collaborate with the external/internal finance partner for audits, yearend financial process and other financial transactions.

Required Qualification

- CA Foundation/CA Inter/MBA Finance

Mandatory Skill Sets

- Experience in managing the day to day financial activities of an organization

- Excellent understanding of accounting standards, invoicing, reconciliation and financial reporting including but not limited to

Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss statements, Trial balance.

- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

- Experience in working with global stakeholders

- Adept in MS Excel and other MS Office applications

Added Advantage

- Have good working knowledge of Cloud-based Accounting software

- Have thorough knowledge of industry level invoicing practises and checkpoint validations

Key Deliverables/Tasks

- Conduct daily operations required as per the accounting cycle and financial transactions

- Work closely with the external finance partner whereby ensuring accuracy and efficient management of our accounts

- Be the SPOC for any financial queries coming from global stakeholders, provide resolutions

- Responsible for all activities pertaining to Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, invoicing and vendor payments

- Own the validation of the financial statements such as MIS, Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss statements

- Be the SPOC for financial audit and collaborate with the external finance partner and CEO to ensure successful completion of the same

- Provide inputs during the annual financial activities such as forecasting, budgeting, cash flow reports and relevant financial analysis

- Demonstrate ability to scale-up the financial operations in India by expanding service offerings catering to the global stakeholders

- Keep all the transactions and validation, Finance Decks, up-to-date and be ready to present to management as and when required by them.

- Own correspondence with bankers/vendors to the extent it concerns accounting, reporting, statutory dealings.

- On behalf of AR team, own invoicing and fund-to-invoice allocation for the broker dealer business

- Work closely with the head of broker dealer on matters related but not limited to invoicing, tax obligations, use tax, KYC checks and processes.

- Support issuing invoices for the day and reconciling incoming funds.
