Job Responsibilities:
Business Management:
- Managing resources, including tracking hires and leavers and cost behavior governance
- Acting as a business coordinator for A&S HR topics, such as hire approvals and contract offers
- Ownership of a variety of BAU topics
- Gatekeeper for specific system/ data accesses
- Own and drive business processes, VRM and other key documents for the Mumbai A&S team
Strategy & Execution:
- Support management in various strategic and business topics
- Lead and execute business priorities and projects
- Coordinate with Global teams (including cross divisional) on various topics
Risk & Control:
- Coordinate on various control and regulatory topics; provide input to regional COO teams and assist with review
- Performing independent reviews to identify, highlight and document issues, ensuring prompt escalation
Key Competencies:
- Previous experience in a Chief Operating Officer (COO)/ Business Management role (preferable)
- Educated to Master's degree level or equivalent qualification/work experience
- A self-starter with strong analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
- Strong verbal and analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft applications, in particular Excel and Power point
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to create presentations and reports
- Knowledge of the banking and financial sectors
- Enthusiastic and a flexible team player, with an ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting strict deadlines
