Associate/Assistant Manager - Transaction Advisory services - Accounting Firm (2-10 yrs)

Designation - Associate and Assistant Manager

Location - Mumbai

Education - MBA/ CA

Experience- Atleast having 2 yrs years of financial due diligence experience (preferably with a Big 4 firm) is MUST.

Job Responsibility -

- Participate in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements with both private equity and strategic corporate buyers.

- Participate in client meetings and site visits while interacting with top-level management to obtain pertinent information to build factbooks.

- Perform (i) quality of earnings, (ii) working capital and (iii) debt and debt-like items analyses on target companies.

- Analyze historical financial statements and evaluate operational trends to identify sustainable earnings.

- Analyze the financial operations of the target companies and identify issues that may impact the purchase price.

- Ability to lead an engagement and provide real-time feedback and guidance to clients to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.

- Effectively write and communicate tailored engagement reports to client management

- Assists in preparing proposals and engagement letters.

- Manage multiple tasks/projects at a time.

- Demonstrates proven knowledge and success with resolving issues in technical accounting areas involving U.S. GAAP.

- Experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis and ability to generate data-driven insights.

- Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) to interact effectively with internal team members and external clients of the firm.

- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
