Associate Analyst - Analytics - Supply Chain (1-4 yrs)

Associate Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Set up visibilities for all processes across all legs for Supply Chain - by building pipelines to consolidate data from multiple sources (Online and Offline) and generate reports/insights/actionables

- Collaborate with Planning & Design team, GCC, Operations, business, product and technology to support them with visibility, data and insights

- Lead investigations into multiple streams of data, analyze users to empower SC to drive efficiencies

- Defining success metrics for initiatives/product launches and setting up visibility for the same

- Providing support to business teams on specific metrics and analysis in a time bound manner

- Delivering insights to business teams to reach their targets

- Preparing performance dashboards on a periodic basis and highlighting issues

- Shortlisting/Prioritising target areas and closing loops on analytics requirements before pilots and post experimentation/product launch/initiative

Requirements :

- A bachelor's degree in Statistics or other quantitative disciplines such as Engineering, Applied Mathematics, etc

- 0-3 years of professional experience in an analytical role

- Hands on experience in SQL and Excel/Spreadsheets to build dashboards and build data pipeline for consumption of larger set of audience is mandatory

- Ability to draw conclusions from data and recommend actions

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

What would your typical day look like?

- Collaborating with Operations and Control Tower Team for sharing visibility across different legs and processes and sharing actionable insights. E.g. Why is the Doorstep of Specific Customers higher in one particular hub? Digging deeper into the localities where the time is higher, field executives behaviour, customer historical behaviour, line items being delivered, etc to do a descriptive analysis.

- Defining operational metrics which can be referred by the ground team would be part of the responsibility e.g. why are certain items not being dispatched back to Seller? Setting up data models which can share the RCA and help reduce the losses.

- Owning and implementing change in the dashboards if the data pipelines are changed on the backend infrastructure. Data Modelling in Spreadsheets and writing queries in SQL and MySQL would be entailed in this role.

This is a junior role in the analytics domain and is a bit more tactical than the Data Analyst role.
