Assisting Partner - Audit - CA - Consulting Firm

Job Description

We are seeking suitably qualified chartered accountants to join our audit and assurance division. You will be involved in providing assurance services to our portfolio of international and local clients in the diversified sectors. You will be responsible for the execution of the UJA risk based audit approach and leading audit teams during the fieldwork.

The position reports to Managing Partner and will have direct responsibility for a number of audit teams as follows:

- Finding and retaining clients

- Attending business events, accounting seminars or other conferences as opportunities to extend the firm s audit capabilities and gain new clients

- Meeting with the clients

- Traveling when there is need to contact the clients for approval or any other clarification

- Bringing new companies into the firm s client portfolio

- Making calls on clients to ensure that the accounting firm has completed audit tasks in a competent and professional manner

- Managing the accounting firms audit department so that they will give profit for the organization and guiding them accordingly for completing the tasks

- Keeping track of the financial activities of the organization

- Collecting the audit reports and analysing whether there is need for any improvement

- Proposing new methods and ideas, and being responsible for implementing them and guiding others to follow the new methodology or policy

- Selecting audit teams for client engagements
