Assistant Vice President - Workforce Management

In conjunction with the head of technology, develop and implement a Data Strategy for Epicenter, enabling it to transform the use of data to support operational and strategic

Should be able to fast-paced work environment and adept at managing multiple and sometimes complicated (cross-departmental) priorities while delivering excellent results, with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities :

1. Champion and rally the organization around BI. Educate senior business executives on the value of BI: without measurement, there's no management

2. Build next generation large, scalable and fast distributed systems to ingest, organize and manage all data at scale efficiently

3. Determine how the business sources, gathers, maintains and deploys corporate data and insight across the organization

4. Participate in the full lifecycle of an analytics or BI project: from gathering and understanding the requirements to creating the functional design, architecting the solution, supervising the detailed technical design and implementation, to preparing and executing the functional tests

5. Execution and review of assessment activities and maturity diagnostics on the analytics capability (organization and processes, added-value analysis, application adequacy, IT capability)

6. Design and manage underlying data sources to allow quick and efficient data extracts to support analysis

7. Manage, prioritize and track all data quality, reporting or analysis requests raised by the business and ensure these are resolved to meet business expectations

8. Deliver high-quality reporting and insights through automation, insight and challenge to business areas

9. Participate in the development of strategies, operating models (i.e. organizations & processes), roadmaps and business cases for Analytics and BI solutions

10. Support decision makers through reporting, dashboards and portals where relevant, using forward-thinking analytics

11. Track and resolve risks, issues, and action items throughout project lifecycle

12. Facilitate handover to BAU and system training sessions with end users

13. Work with teams such as Finance to help determine models through which forecasts and projections can be made.

Qualifications :

1. Educational qualification - BE/ B. Tech - Computer Science/ IT (must)

2. Experience in product development & large-scale, multi-release information centric project management

3. Prior experience of building data warehouses

4. Strong relational and dimensional data modeling and database design skills, data mining & segmentation techniques

5. Experience in functional design of BI and MI analytics solutions

6. Extensive experience of SAS, SQL, Java, Python or other data languages

7. Hands-on experience using ETL tools and possess strong analytical and problem solving techniques
