Assistant Vice President - Wealth Management - Bank (4-8 yrs)

- Our client is a global investment bank, having a strong presence in the areas of global markets, corporate finance and asset and wealth management. This role is at wealth management desk to service the global wealth management division, which offers individuals and institutions traditional and alternative investments across all major asset classes.

- It also provides tailored wealth management solutions and private banking services to high-net-worth individuals and family offices.

Role Responsibilities :

- They are seeking to hire qualified candidates to support the global CIO and global wealth discretionary ("WD") team. Key responsibilities of this role would include:

Investment Writing : Write portfolio commentaries related to discretionary mandate strategies.

Pitches : Tailored pitches/presentations/ proposals (based on simulation/backtests, leverage analysis) across all asset classes

Investment Proposal (including Requests for Proposals - RFP- and Review Creation : Deliver proposals and reviews for various discretionary strategies and customized investment portfolios.

Performance/Attribution Analysis :

- Review performance attribution across all asset classes or for Equity, Fixed Income and multi-asset portfolios and provide reconciliation support for discrepancies.

Reporting :

- Support CIO and WD team with internal report generation, collation and publishing.

- Maintenance of pitchbooks/presentations and other marketing collateral.

Person Specification :

- A post-graduate degree in finance, accounting, business or economics with experience in the financial markets would be required.

Due to the nature of the job you should have the following skill sets :

- Highly analytical with in-depth knowledge on portfolio management, asset allocation and financial instruments.

- Good team player.

- Ability to work independently, with a proactive approach,

- Good time management with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially strong Excel, PowerPoint and Bloomberg's skills required

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
