Assistant Vice President/Vice President - Trade Finance - Bank (7-13 yrs)
AVP/VP - Trade Finance @ Leading Asia-Pacific Bank
Our client, a leading Asia-Pacific bank, is looking for AVP/VP Trade Finance (part of transaction banking business) for its New Delhi offices, reporting to the Head of Trade Finance in India.
- Responsibilities include developing Indian trade finance business, ensure execution as per plan, promote/execute priority sector transactions (involving export credit - PCFC/PSFC in INR/FX), supply chain solutions (ARP, Supplier Finance), administer transactions per guidelines/policies/regulations.
- The role also involves utilizing global branch and trade finance network to support clients; manage requirements in bank guarantees, LC confirmations, LC bill negotiations/discounting, suppliers credit and buyers credit etc.; work with RMs for promotions, account management and to prepare credit applications for trade product related limits; undertake trade related initiatives (internal process approvals, product note approvals, product rollouts etc); implement credit facilities and liaison for execution of trade transactions; review legal and other product documentation and ensure necessary internal approvals; and undertake management reporting and research of material market and customer information, as well as trade income of the branch.
- The candidate must come from a good college with preference towards disciplines including international trade and finance, have 7-12 years experience, with knowledge of trade finance products including Bank Guarantees, LC, Recourse, Non-Recourse, ECBs, FDI and ODI; alongside complex and exotic trade solutions like Factoring, Amortization, and Avalizations etc. The candidate should be a Feet on Street, should undertake cold calling, get into the market even without RMs across the country to target top Indian companies and MNCs. Excellent communication is a must.
