Hiring for a listed well known Corporate with interests in retail, mall management, real estate & hospitality, with great brand image & International standards, hires bright Professionals, is growing its footprint. It implements best practices, has focus on people & financial prudence.

AVP Legal Retail

- Provide transactional support to business by timely preparation, negotiation & execution of high quality and low risk LLAs and contracts

- Legal advisory support to business in handling operational & compliance issues

- Identify, anticipate & mitigate legal risk for the center

- Draft & vet commercial documents, Lease Deeds, Leave & License Agreements etc Prepare standard agreement & other document templates

- Drive legal negotiations personally with key clients

- Represent the Company before various regulatory authorities/Courts of law

- Ensure effective litigation management of all cases - appoint & manage external counsel, file cases & monitor their progress

- Ensure adherence to internal control systems (legal audit) to maintain set quality standards

- Work closely with Contractors/vendors, Brands (Retail/Commercial Tenants), External Legal Counsel, Statutory/ Regulatory agencies etc

- Expert knowledge of Indian Contract Act, Transfer of Property Act, Maharashtra Rent Control Act, real estate laws like MOFA, RERA; litigation & procedural law

- Top drafting & negotiating skills with flair for finding innovative solutions to break deadlocks with key tenants/customers

- Manage stakeholders, strong communicator, excellent interpersonal skills, passionate practitioner of law

LLb, 15-17 years- experience, 35-40 years of age
