Assistant Vice President/Vice President - Analytics - Financial Services Firm

Looking for strong Analytics professionals having experience in Advanced Analytics and Risk Analytics.

Tools : R/Python.

- Should have strong experience in Project Delivery, Client/Stakeholder Management and Pre sales/ROI.

- 15 years of experience

- Experience in analytics of building and deploying solutions for global organizations

- Experience in managing senior stakeholders

About the role: Drive data-driven decision making for a business function - identify, plan, organize, deliver and help implement analytics projects/ solutions.

Analytics Strategy

- Create an analytics strategy for the business function in collaboration with the business leadership designed to help meet the business its goals and long-term strategy

- Implement the analytics strategy through a well-planned, time-bound program. Help create a culture of using data for critical decisions

Requirement gathering

- Collate, interpret and analyze current business priorities (based on LRP/AOP) and emerging business challenges/ requirements such as getting new business, AUM retention, support upsell/ cross sell, etc. for the business function

- Identify the key opportunities for application of analytics initiatives based on ROI and/ or long-term strategy

Project planning & scoping

- For approved priorities, extensively analyze business problems, output requirements and functional capabilities to define project objectives and outcome, and seek buy-in from the respective function head

- Convert the business issue into an analytical problem and subsequently, create a high-level solution architecture

- Define measurable objectives and prepare detailed project plan with milestones in line with set objectives. Assemble the right team to deliver the work

Project delivery

- Implement the various phases of project such as conceiving alternate solutions, solution designing, solution development and solution validation prior to present the solution to the business

- Analyze various aspects for solution design and development including evaluation of available data, variable selection for rigor.

- Lead a limited release to pilot the solution and redevelopment / rebuilding of the solution until final release

- At various key stages of solution design, development and deployment, engage the various stakeholders to seek inputs and share progress and insights
