Assistant Vice President - Treasury - Internal Reporting - BFSI - CA

Job Title: AVP Treasury Internal Reporting

Location: Chennai

- To manage the Treasury Finance financial data output of forecasting and stress testing cycles for the Treasury. Must have a very strong control mind-set and be able to comfortable working with large data sets of financial information.

What will you be doing?

- Running the financial data management for Treasury Finance for forecasting & stress testing cycles

- Forming strong working relationships with Treasury Finance team members who are responsible for running models for forecasting and stress testing cycles

- Running data control checks to ensure integrity and interlock between supporting schedules/reports and reporting infrastructure

- Be proactive in looking for efficiency savings around the Treasury Finance data management & MI reporting

- Act as a key point of contact for various stakeholder throughout the bank to facilitate interlock on internal Treasury items - marginal transfer pricing and Treasury cost/income allocations

- Document, escalate and work with stakeholders to solve problems encountered during a forecasting or stress testing cycle

- Strong time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines

What we're looking for:

- Specific experience in Treasury / Funding, Money Markets or Line PC preferred

- Experience of P&L and BS management of large data sources

- Demonstrate appreciation of controls, process enhancement and improvement

- Very Strong Excel skills or database management skills

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Numerical degree (2.1 or above)or equivalent

- Qualified accountant ACA, CIMA or equivalent

- Financial services background and/or equivalent

- Experience in partnering with trading staff and & others of infrastructure as required

- Confidence in reporting to senior stakeholders (business leads)

- Up to date knowledge of capital and liquidity considerations affecting the banking sector
