Assistant Vice President - Supply Operations Management - Education (7-11 yrs)
The AVP Supply Operations is a key leadership role in which the incumbent will lead a fast-growing pool of teachers and take end to end responsibility for supply building, teacher onboarding, training, operations and communications. This is a high accountability and high impact role, working directly with the founders.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Willing to work 6 days a week
- Willing to work in a Series A funded startup and build everything from scratch
- 7 to 11 years of experience in operations, training, supply building with a consumer tech company
- Past entrepreneurial experience is highly valued
- A background in education/training would be valuable
Roles and Responsibilities/ Mission Statement:
The AVP, Supply Operations will be the sole custodian for Supply Building, Onboarding, Teacher Training and Teacher Selection in the team.
Teacher Onboarding
- Onboard a large pool of teachers
- Induct the teachers using scalable and tech driven processes
- Get teachers ready in short TAT
Teacher Training Design and Delivery:
- Design and enhance teacher training spanning pedagogy, online classroom management, content understanding, content delivery and company policies
- Create plans for continuous and ongoing training of existing teachers
- Deliver teacher training and develop and lead a team of teacher trainers
Demo Operations
- Ensure conduction of demo classes in line with business goals
- Own up operational metrics related to demo conduction
Supply Planning and Building:
- Create supply onboarding plans in line with revenue goals
- Conduct teacher selection interviews and improve the selection process
Teacher Operations and Communication
- Lead a Cx team to ensure that the day to day problems of teachers are resolved within reasonable TAT
- Own up all communication activities for teachers, including engagement initiatives and Reward and Recognition
