Assistant Vice President - Real Estate Research

- 14+ years in industry roles, business research, or consulting within the RE industry

- Demonstrated experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods such as statistical analysis, primary research (surveys, interviews), financial analysis, secondary research, data analysis, and case study research.

- Insight into capturing and telling the story of ROI for complex deliverables

- Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Needs to be adept at using storyboarding, structuring, and various narrative writing strategies; an ideal candidate will have published in leading Indian, US, or global journals

- A strong understanding of and previous research experience addressing:

- Substantive issues facing the US RE industry

- Financial management concepts, management approaches, and strategy and policy frameworks - customer strategy, merger and acquisition strategy, financial and performance management, IT strategy

- Industry regulatory structure and regulations

- Exceptional leadership skills is creative and able to influence, persuade, and negotiate team members, peers, and firm leaders

- Strong team management skills recruiting, performance assessment, motivating, and engaging team members

- Ability to collaborate with multiple groups in a fast-paced environment to create, develop, and see through initiatives to completion

- Competency to work with distributed and virtual teams.

- Academic qualification : Masters degree like MBA/CFA/CA/CS

- Work experience : 14+ years post masters degree

- Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms, RE companies, focused research institutes, corporate strategy, or research divisions

- Location : Mumbai

- Work hours : 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (expected to stretch during busy periods)
