Assistant Vice President - REO OPD


Purpose of the Role:

- To Ensure all Regulatory reports are prepared and submitted within the due date in accordance with the reporting schedule

- To monitor and report management irregular/ pending transaction for all India.

- To support operations units of all India for implementation new procedures and systems.

- To support improvement and stabilization of operations for all India.

Main Responsibilities:

Strategic:

- Collate information and prepare regulatory reports to RBI, Tax Department, DICGC, FIU etc. in accurate and timely manner.

- Prepare procedures and policies in light of any regulatory or internal policy changes for all India.

- Monitor and report any irregular or pending transaction such as caution listed customer to management.

- Monitor implementation of any regulatory or internal policy changes for all India and report status to management.

- Support all India for implementation and stabilization of system such as EDPMS/IDPMS.

- Prepare business specifications documents to capture the requirements from users and submit to ASO or Systems Divisions for approval.

- Support the branches and ODI on new implementations and ensure that systems are rolled out correctly and in a timely manner.

- Act as a project manager on large and complex system rollouts to ensure the successful delivery by reporting regularly on the project statuses and timelines and managing stakeholder expectations, as well as managing the project's budget in order to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

- Support Operations units in all India by resolving and responding issues and queries raised by units.

Financial:

- Look at cost reduction opportunities by automating and elimination

Customer:

- Work in co-ordination with compliance to understand the changes in the regulations and implementation of the same.

- Work in partnership with branches, ISO, FCT, CRMD & MRMD for seamless submission of regulatory reports

People:

- Responsible for managing the team to attain the objectives of the organization

- Act as a role model to team members and adhere to all company policies / guidelines.

- Support, coach and guide team on transactions issues.

- Encourage and make opportunities to enhance the operational skill of the team.

- Ensure periodic job rotation of team and encourage multi-functionality to increase productivity of the department

Other/Control:

- Support internal and external audits and inspection by preparing documentation and data as required.

- Create and modify process documents to reflect the regulatory changes and changes in processes to improve efficiency

- Timely submission of audit related data to the RBI during audit / inspections

- Timely completion of Adhoc projects / activities assigned by Management & execution of periodic business as usual activities.

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Expertise / knowledge required:

- Strong PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Sound knowledge of the Bank's policy and procedures.

- Good knowledge of data analysis, Operations system, policies and process.

- Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others and promote technical solutions.

- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other departments.

- Strong program management skills, to monitor and manage multiple large regional projects on time and on budget

Requirements:

- Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience

- Graduate and/or Post Graduate.

- Regulatory Certification would be preferred

- Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience
