Position Title- QA Lead - AVP Function- Global Products and Platforms (LifePRO) Reports to- Vice President / SAVP The AVP of LifePROQA Lead is a leadership role in the Global Products and Platforms organization responsible for leading the strategy, design, rollout, and adoption of the testing for L&amp;A platform LifePRO. Direct responsibilities include hands-on involvement in QA delivery in various capacities such as establishing and setting up new testing suite, methodology, framework, working with new projects or programs, jumping in and troubleshooting struggling projects, and participating as a steering leader in targeted internal or client delivery projects. The position will operate in a matrix environment reporting to Sr.AVP/ VP and participating as an active member in the Global Products and Platforms leadership team delivering Solutions. The position will require occasional domestic and international travel. Responsibilities - Responsible for creating the overall end to end testing strategy for Life and Annuities platforms - Responsible for designing the building blocks of the QA process to stabilize the system so that the system can become scalable, fast and optimized. - Responsible for designing framework for the creation of Test Plan, Execution Plan, and other deliverables in accordance with the SDLC guidelines via fully automated framework - Strong experience working with decoupled applications in SOA framework - Work with various development, QA and Test environment teams for overall integration strategy - Good Understanding of automation testing framework and test execution using automation tools - Proven track record of large scale implementation of the Testing strategy - Should have a good understanding of Life insurance and Annuities business in North America - Should have a good understanding of the complexities around the core insurance policy administration system as well as the subsystems - Contributes in defining test data management and environment management approach - Work in a Global Delivery model Technical skills : - Experience on Life Policy Admin Systems and Life Insurance principles - Good Experience of Test Automation solutions - VB Scripting, Java Scripting - Worked on SOAP UI, XML, HTML etc. - Working Experience in automation tools like Selenium, QTP etc - Must be well versed with various SDLC processes - Experience/Understanding of bug life cycle
