Assistant Vice President - Project Management - Microenterprise Sector - BFSI

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in management & delivery of consulting projects in the Micro/Small/ Medium enterprise sector.

- Must possess knowledge about the specific industry sectors like Textiles, Engineering, Food, and allied sectors

- Demonstrated skills in people management and collaboration

- Exposure to programs implemented by the Government of India for promotion of MSME

Essential: Exposure to consulting assignments in India and/or abroad;

Other Qualifications:

- Excellent verbal and written communication in English, technical writing, presentations, and interpersonal skills;

- Quantitative aptitude and understanding of financial concepts and analysis, coupled with advanced MS-Excel skills;

- Detailed orientation and accuracy, with the ability to organize and deliver high quality analytical and written work against firm deadlines;

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team;

- Comfortable working in ambiguous or rapidly changing situations;

- Passion, enthusiasm, and drive for results; and

- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Tasks to be performed:

- Achieve business targets;

- Partnership and business development including writing concept papers and proposals;

- Prepare a broad direction for working in clusters by preparing a list of 10-12 strategic sectors and potential interventions based on existing experience and desk review;

- Working on short-term and long-term consulting assignments in India/ abroad;

- Developing project deliverables, such as business plans, work plans, quarterly reports, training materials, etc;

- Supporting field-based projects with strategizing, research, data analysis, and project management activities;

- Assisting in the collection, analysis, and synthesis of market or institutional assessment data;

- Providing analytical inputs from cluster development for shaping the strategy and work with farmer producer organizations;

Non-financial segment :

- Cluster analysis in collaboration with institutions already engaged with MEs,NIMSME and EDI

- Work as Technical agency for cluster development /implementation

- Research studies and evaluations

- Capacity building and training for entrepreneurs

- ID services for community-based organizations operating clusters

Finance segment :

- Institutional assessments for financial institutions for microenterprise lending

- Market research and segmentation

- Development of financing strategy, delivery channels, risk management

- Credit policies and processes, developing credit scoring tools

- Financial products for microenterprises - design, piloting and roll out support to MFIs

- To drive the initiative of Orgnisation propose to recruit a person who will work with other team members.
