AVP - Marketing (No 2 in Command), Reporting to Head of Marketing


Our Client is a Global Multinational Company in Consumer Facing Industry and in India, client is in TOP 3 Ranking.

We are looking at a Sr Leader who can Head the Entire 'BTL' / 'Trade Activation' / 'Event Activation' / 'Product Launch Communication Programme Design' / 'Trade Scheme Activation'.

This is a Team Handling Role - DGM Level People will report into this position. So Candidate Must be very Strong in team handling.

Candidate must be 15 Yrs+ work experience in handling BTL Activation Programme.

This position will Head BTL at National Level.

As the Client, operating Industry has a very Vital role to play in overall Marketing Function. This is why we are looking for Such a Sr Person.

Summary / Job Profile

To establish and drive a comprehensive - Below the Line - activation strategy for the Company to enhance awareness and generate trials (footfalls) in target markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Planning and review of Regional Marketing Calendar.

- Build a comprehensive BTL (- Below the Line- ) strategy for the brand.

- Build a national BTL calendar encompassing regional festivals and key marketing events.

- Work closely with regional heads, regional marketing teams to identify specific areas of focus and implement plans to address the focus areas and deliver on key metrics.

- Analyze region performance and review the calendar to target relevant KPIs.

- Use brand events effectively to communicate brand attributes.

- Continuously monitor competition activities on ground to modify strategies accordingly.

- Deploy best practices and successful marketing initiative across regions.

New Product Launches.

- Develop comprehensive market / catchment understanding for new markets and plan activities to drive performance of new stores.

Brand Plan.

- Participate in development of marketing strategies and brand building exercises to increase market share.

- Standardize creative communication across touch points by adhering to the Brand Manual.

- Leverage Relationships and Develop Partnerships.

- Leverage CRM date to plan and target specific catchments.

People management

- Build, coach, develop and motivate the team to meet and exceed performance expectations.

- Manage and motivate the team to ensure high engagement levels.

- Lead them through example and timely feedback on their training and performance.

We are looking for candidates who are very strong in Brand Activation, Trade Marketing.

From Media / Agency or RETAIL Industry background.
