- The GIB-Pitchbook team of the Knowledge Services Centre supports deal teams across global offices to execute capital raising and strategic advisory transactions. Specifically, the team helps Global Investment Bankers of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in their business origination and client coverage efforts through building of client pitchbooks and supporting business analysis.

- We are looking for a leader with strong analytical skills to manage a team supporting analysts in Global Investment Banking across global locations.

- This position will be based out of GDCE Knowledge Services Center in Mumbai. This role requires the candidate to possess strong financial analysis skills, financial modeling, business planning, proficiency at various MS office products, and effective communication skills.

- The incumbent should be able to resourcefully manage high volume of assignments across multiple sectors/regions, and ensure the collective teams remain aligned to the overall business strategy.

Responsibilities-

- Act as a subject matter expert to deliver superior assignments in a time-bound manner

- Display the ability to rigorously analyze industries and companies for key drivers of success

- Develop and enhance the industry and product knowledge of the team

- Understand overall risk and compliance framework, and guide the team to comply with these requirements

- Lead the hiring and training of analysts/associates

- Manage the compensation discussions/career paths of the India team

- Ensure secondary leadership and contingent planning of operations

- Interact regularly with sector/functional leadership to ensure optimal training and integration of the India team with teams from global offices

- Drives initiatives to generate efficiencies

Requirements:

Education:

Candidates in this role to be one of the following:

- Chartered Accountant / CFA Charter holders

- Post Graduate (MBAs / Masters) degree in Finance or Business Administration from reputed Institutions

Experience Range:

- Minimum 11 years of experience in relevant industry of which 4-5 should be in a leadership role

Mandatory skills:

- Strong financial analysis skills

- In-depth knowledge of various banking products

- Resourceful, self-starter, results oriented with the ability to get things done and overcome obstacles

- Proven management skills having led at least a major offshore sector or functional team for a leading Investment Bank

- Well versed with various tools and data sources used in delivery of assignments

- Migration and/or project management experience will be favorably considered

- Desire to grow and build team that is well integrated with a global industry/region groups

- Ability to fit the Bank of America Merrill Lynch culture

Desired skills:

- Exposure to working in different global locations

- Proficiency with one or more major Global languages
