Head - Legal - Non Litigation - NBFC

One of our leading NBFC client is hiring for Legal team in Head - Legal - Not Litigation (Loan Documentation) role at Mumbai office.

Roles & Responsibility :

Handling & responding to legal queries of different business verticals .

- Drafting, Vetting, Negotiating and modification of Loan Agreements, contracts, Non-Disclosure (NDA) Agreements, specific deal or transaction and agreements related documents.

- Negotiation with Client on loan documentation and modification of loan documentation.

- Conducting of legal due diligence on properties for creation of mortgage (i.e. by equitable mortgage or registered mortgage or by extension of mortgage), on pan India basis preparation of mortgage documentation and advising internal teams on legal queries, documentation and stamp duty.

- Drafting & Vetting of security documentation i.e. Mortgage documentation, Pledge Agreements, Hypothecation, Security Trustee Agreements.

- Vetting of Consortium documentation.

Required Skills:

Expertise in loan documentation for "Retail Lending Business", OR "SME Business" OR "Mortgage Loan" with any Bank or NBFC or Law firms.
