Position: AVP- Legal (IT Contracts)

Location: Mumbai

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Corporate Lawyer with experience in End to End Contract Management (Drafting, Reviewing, Negotiating etc) + IPR + Data privacy

- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

- Self-starter, problem solver and ability to work with minimal supervision

- Strong analytical skills

- Work efficiently and complete tasks under tight deadlines

- Experience in managing a team would be an added advantage

Job Description:

- Drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts related to Software licenses, Hardware procurements, Cloud services, and other IT related services and non IT related services;

- Advisory on Open source and Freeware terms and conditions

- Advise on information technology related laws including Cyber laws

- Remain constantly updated on the emerging IT trends and legal implications revolving around modern day technology disruption issues such as robotics, financial technology, cloud computing

- Respond and provide solutions to legal queries posed by the business teams in relation to the contractual agreements and related terms;

- Diligently track and report tasks and status to the management
