Assistant Vice President - Legal - IT Contract - Investment Banking

Our Global IB Bank client is looking for AVP Legal IT Contract for their technology center.

Work Location - Mumbai

Position Brief :

- Our Client is having center in Mumbai and presence all across the Globe . This team is managing all India's litigation, employment law and corporate secretarial matters and provides corporate secretarial support services to globally.

- Successful Lawyer who will work as a part of the Legal team. This Legal team supports the India and responsible for drafting, review, negotiation and finalization of commercial contracts including information technology, real estate, data privacy, etc.

- The broad nature of work will be reviewing, drafting and negotiation of IT contracts and advisory on IT related issues.

- The candidate will report to the head of documentation within the India Corporate Commercial Legal team.

Responsibilities :

- Hands-on experience with independently handling matters relating to Intellectual Property Rights, Real Estate, Employment Law, Litigation including tax litigation, intercompany contracts, drafting, should have basic knowledge in reviewing and negotiating of commercial agreements (including working knowledge of market data issues).

- Independent liaison with the relevant business and corporate divisions.

- Provide commercially savvy legal advice on a variety of matters

- Timely closure and senior management reporting of matters. Experience in managing a team and multitasking
