Assistant Vice President - Legal Entity Controller - Financial Services

- Our client is an international financial services provider engaged in personal banking, credit cards, corporate and investment banking and wealth management with an extensive presence in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia.

- Actively seeking an experienced individual to be part of their Legal Entity Controller team primarily responsible for Controllership, Financial Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Capital and Liquidity Reporting and Management Reporting across different regions.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Manage Month End Closure including Balance sheet control, IFRS & US GAAP reporting.

- Assist in implementing change management in the Finance area.

- Oversight of Regulatory Reporting including Capital & Liquidity reporting for regulators across different regions.

- Deal with different LoB's and Risk teams to ensure appropriate reporting and presentation of the P&L accounts and disclosure of the balance sheet accounts

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Qualified Accountant - CA, CPA or MBA (Finance)

- Professional accountancy qualification or equivalent relevant experience

- At least 8+ years of Team Management experience in a Controllership, Regulatory Reporting, IFRS, US GAAP or similar environment.

- International experience an essential for this opportunity

- Demonstrate leadership ability in setting direction and prioritisation

- Strong communication and influencing skills required to be successful in this role

- Strong inter-personal skills and evidence of working across teams and geographies to produce timely and accurate output
