Assistant Vice President - Infocenter - Financial Research - BFSI (8-15 yrs)

The Role & Responsibilities :
Project Management :
- Managing the financial and market research databases and ensuring workflow coordination across teams
- Synthesizing and presenting data in structured manner
- Building templates from scratch, conducting competitive landscaping, screening companies for comparable analysis and market research
- Understanding of nuances pertaining to sell side or buy side support and basic knowledge of the processes / projects thereof
- Delivering technical expertise to identify, analyze and provide recommendations to complex business issues
- Spearheading various processes associated with strategic business plans
- Ensuring adherence to all compliance risk policies and procedures
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Leading interaction with various Management and Business stakeholders providing insightful, timely, and accurate updates and recommendations around:
- Ongoing financial performance, trends, and KPI's
- Financial Plans and Projections
- Predictive Analytics
- Strategic Projects
- Liaising and scoping of research with delivery teams
- Handling of complex sector research requests
- Working in close partnership with the business heads by providing financial research support to drive key business decisions, drive engagement with key stakeholders to understand current and future challenges, and developing concise business requirements for transformation and change
- Influencing stakeholders through effective communication of information, presentation, and recommendation of an appropriate solution
- Managing and effectively resolving all incoming queries from clients within agreed SLA
Team Management :
- Managing a team of Associates and Analysts
- Assisting fellow colleagues for research related queries
- Training and mentoring of researchers
- Overseeing recruitment, training, and ongoing development of the team
- Overseeing all KPIs and KRIs and providing guidance, directions, support, and training to team members
- Overseeing, directing, and organizing the work of the business teams
- Promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and commitment to quality
- Establishing and Monitoring team performance and development goals, assigning responsibilities, setting objectives, priorities, mentoring and developing the team using a supportive and collaborative approach
Prerequisites:
- Managing database with expertise on Bloomberg, CapIQ, PitchBook, Preqin, Dealogic, Thomson Reuters, IDC, MergerMarket, Factset, Euromonitor, EIU, Factiva, Moody- s, BMI, etc.
- Well versed with industry, economic & complex company related research to support the delivery teams
- Market and Industry expertise
- Strong finance knowledge
- Excellent communication and team management skills
- Hands on knowledge of projects ranging from simple data aggregation tasks like PIBs, research reports, company & people profiles
Experience: 8- 15 years in Financial Research
Education - MBA in Finance
Compensation - The compensation structure will be as per industry standards
