Assistant Vice President - High Frequency Trading - Financial Services (1-8 yrs)
The primary responsibilities for this role will include:
- Enhancing the analytics platform responsible for producing trading signals that are used by the Firm's execution models to make trading decisions
- Working closely with the LQR models and products team to develop new trading signals
- Building a framework to better capture, view and analyze performance of the trading signals, and their impact on execution
- Extending the platform to make it more resilient, robust and scalable
- Extending the platform to have better intra-day controls and data quality checks
- Liaising with sales and product teams to capture new signal requirements and help develop them
Essential Skills:
- Computer science or mathematics background
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Thorough understanding of Computer Science with high level of proficiency in programming. Good Python and KDB skills will be an advantage
- Excellent communication and team skills in a multi-location set up
- Close attention to detail and ability to work to very high standards
- Product knowledge: Good understanding of Equities and Electronic trading will be an advantage.
- Relevant experience in similar roles in Quant Research and building trading signals will be an advantage
