Job Description: AVP - Financial Controller

Location: Navi Mumbai & Mumbai

Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Mandatory Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Experience: 12 - 14 years

Overview:

Seeking an experienced AVP - Financial Controller to manage the complete end-to-end Finance function. This role requires strategic leadership in financial accounting, taxation, treasury, compliance, and process automation, working closely with the CFO and executive teams.

Core Responsibilities:

- Financial Accounting & Reporting: Manage Financial Accounting, Investment Operations, Group MIS, and Financial Reporting. Analyse monthly P&L and Balance Sheet variances. Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable.

- Taxation & Compliance: Handle all Direct Taxation (TDS, Annual Return, Tax Audit) and Indirect Taxation (GST Billing, Input credit recon, filings). Ensure complete regulatory compliance.

- Treasury & Audit: Manage Treasury Operations. Lead internal and statutory Audits and oversee issue resolution.

- Strategy & Governance: Drive Automation & Improvisation of accounting software/processes. Prepare and present MIS and Business Analytics. Manage financial oversight of Group Entities and CSR matters. Finalize budgets, financial plans, and implement Policy/Process Manuals.

- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships internally and with external stakeholders, including the Audit Committee and Board.
