Role. - AVP- Financial Controller

Job Location - Bangalore

Roles & Responsibilities:-

- As a part of the role, the incumbent should be responsible to drive Revenue Recognition, General Ledger and Accounts Payable functions of the organization and be the transactional nerve center.

- The position will own and lead all day-to-day finance operations along with a team.

- Excellent Stakeholder Management Skills as role demands extensive coordination with multiple stakeholders.

- Maintain effective process controls and compliance environment.

- Strong subject matter expertise and relevant experience of Accounting, Revenue Recognition, Reporting, GST and MIS.

- Preferable service industry / Big 4 post qualification experience of 12 + years. Specific experience in organizations with a turnover of more than 100 Crs in controllership position for last 3 years.

- Qualification - Chartered Accountancy.

- ERP exposure and exposure to cost center centric environment will be handy.

- Location - Bangalore, role reporting to CFO.

- Primary area wise responsibilities as below.

Revenue and Accounts Receivable :

- Responsible for ensuring revenue is recognized in line with regulatory requirements post ensuring strong documentation trail.

- Responsible for continuous process improvement in Revenue Recognition process and agreements.

- Responsible for technology implementations in the area.

- Required to work closely with business heads in ensuring smooth revenue recognition with clear visibility and accountability.

- AR - responsible for formulating and implementing standard operating procedures for AR and oversee client reconciliation and balance confirmations.

Accounts Payable and General Ledger :

- Oversee AP Operations including employee reimbursements post liaison with business / Internal contact points for vendors to ensure the process runs smoothly.

- Lay down guidelines, SOP's and process improvements in the area that can cater to varied business transactions needed.

- Oversee Monthly General Ledger closure post accounting all costs as appropriate.

- Responsible for technology implementations in the area.

Exposure on Treasury functions will be added advantage
