Job Summary:

Techwise Digital Private Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate - Finance to join our team on a contract basis.

This role will be integral to our M&A activities, focusing on financial planning and analysis (FP&A), variance analysis, financial reporting, and audits.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in finance and accounting, advanced Excel proficiency, experience with Power BI, and a proven ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accounting and Controls: Maintain a strong understanding of accounting controls and checks, adjusting entries, and standard month-end closing procedures.

- Review financial accounting team bookings for accuracy and compliance.

- Data Management: Effectively coordinate with various teams to ensure accurate and timely data management.

- Financial Systems Access: Utilize financial systems for data extraction, modification, and query development.

- Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing queries and data retrieval processes.

- Financial Reporting: Prepare the initial drafts (in Excel format) of weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports detailing financial performance.

- Variance Analysis: Conduct thorough variance analysis, investigate discrepancies, and provide insightful commentary explaining fluctuations in financial results.

- Power BI Dashboard Development and Maintenance: Collaborate with the IT team to develop and maintain Power BI dashboards.

- Clearly define user requirements and ensure dashboards are regularly updated and aligned with business needs.

- Business Review Support: Prepare and consolidate base files for Business Reviews, contributing to the development of comprehensive financial presentations.

- Cross-Functional Support: Provide support for accounting, management reporting, and tax reporting activities as needed.

Required Skills:

- Background in business, finance, accounting, or tax.

- 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience in a similar finance function, preferably within a Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) environment.

- University graduate with a degree in Finance or a related discipline.

- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Excel, including extensive experience with formulas, linking files, pivot tables, and data analysis.

- Strong presentation skills, including the ability to create and deliver effective presentations.

- Regular experience using Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

- Proactive approach to process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains.

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong work ethic.

- Flexibility, adaptability, and a strong desire to learn and grow.

- Detail-oriented and capable of working independently.

- Fluency in English.

Desired Skills:

- Experience with M&A transactions and related financial analysis.

- Knowledge of financial modeling and valuation techniques
