AVP/DVP - Business Technology with a Leading Bank Location : Mumbai Exp : 10-20 Years Compensation - 20 - 30 Lacs Job Description : - Developing solutions for all business, process requirements from IT applications. This position interfaces between business, technology and IT vendors for developing IT solutions for business needs. - The role manages team of Functional analysts, Technical analysts and Domain experts to handle Programmes, Projects, Enhancements, Erros ( SFRs), Consulting needs related to systems and business areas being managed . - To provide technology solutions for business/operations/ requirements - Manage complex and key projects / enhancements - Monitor and review System errors and their management - Participate in Business and Technology Strategies and Planning to ensure both are aligned and IT applications deliver business needs. - Manage testing for Projects, Enhancements, SFRs, Technical projects. - Manage changes in Applications on account of interfaces Provide consulting to surround applications for interfacing with core banking system. - Scripting of extracts from Trade related banking systems to support operations and product-biz requirements. - System Error Management, review for applications under domain. - Review and provide inputs, alternate suggestions/solutions on process changes/implementation of new products to operations and business units. - Undertake prompt and conclusive action/decisions / recommendations in case of sudden system issues /operational failures/customer complaints . Looking for candidates with below skills : - MCA/ MBA/ BE/ MSc/B Tech or BSc IT/Graduation with 2 years full time Diploma at NIIT or APTECH, CAIIB or similar - Experience can be a mix of business/ops and systems with more than 60% being on systems side. Exp in BFS domain areas - Systems across - Corporate Banking, Trade products ( LC/BG/Bills/Loans/Payments etc ) /systems, Import, Export Systems and processes. - SWIFT, Indepth understanding of RBI guidelines on Trade and related areas, Remittance, Payments, Advances, Document Management, Workflow, Digital Journeys for a corporate or business segment clients, Strong understanding of credit assessment and related aspects for corporate/ business entities. Technical domain expertise across : - RDBMS - Oracle, Sybase, PL/SQL - OS - Windows 2003 server, SUN Solari Unix or any flavor of unix - Development Technologies like D2K/ JAVA/ VB / J2EE - Hardware Platforms: IBM/SUN/HP - Exposure to Project Management Tools - MS-Project Server - Project Management methodologies, SDLC (Planning, Feasibility Study, Requirements Analysis, Technical Architecture &amp; Design, Development, Testing - UT / SIT / UAT, Implementation, Support, Documentation), Process &amp; Quality. - Keen eye for technology keeping up with ever evolving landscace
