Assistant Vice President - Credit Risk Management - Program Based SME Lending - CA/IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS (5-8 yrs)

Our client is into SME and MSME financing in India, providing small businesses access to program based finance. We are looking for a credit professional with experience in Program based template lending

Qualification B.COM (only Full time), CA, MBA (only Full time)

Looking for talent which has expertise in credit risk management with scorecards. Should have exposure to the modern style of underwriting, building policies and algorithms. Experience of underwriting of loans in Retail / SME with an average ticket size of 10 lacs.

CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB :

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY (AOR) :

- Policy Formulation: Creation of Scorecards and policies

- Underwriting applications

- Portfolio of risk management

- Analyse and raise early warning signals, if required

SUCCESS INDICATORS :

- Degree of Risk and Defaults

- Acceptance Rate

- Maintenance of TAT

- Innovation

WORK ACTIVITIES :

- Act as Thought Leader and Subject Matter Expert in Risk and Credit Underwriting.

- Responsible for developing, directing and monitoring risk and credit underwriting processes associated with loan acquisition activities.

- Operate as a start-up to work with all stakeholders and partners.

- Develop the team continuously across underwriting architecture.

Job Context :

- Hands-on with the tasks, ability to cope up with the pressure and work with small teams. Bias in working with data and tech driven underwriting models

KEY RELATIONSHIPS :

- Internal (i.e., colleagues, other business units)

- External (i.e., suppliers, customers, service providers)

QUALIFICATIONS :

CA/ MBA from Tier I institute.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 5-7 years of relevant experience in credit scoring, risk modelling, and credit underwriting. Ability to network and influence C-Level executives; work in a collaborative environment
